A high-speed DAQ system for SOI sensors featuring 32-channel, 14-bit / 40 MSPS ADCs and 10GbE SiTCP-XG. Dedicated DAQ software provides an integrated environment for data acquisition, calibration, visualization, and recording.
SEABAS3_V1-ADC32 is a high-speed data acquisition system designed to digitize signals from SOI pixel sensors and transfer the acquired data to a PC via 10Gbps Ethernet. The system combines the Kintex-7 FPGA-based SEABAS3_V1 main board with the 32-channel, 14-bit, 40 MSPS SEABAS3M-ADC32_V1 ADC mezzanine card, and supports high-speed data transfer using SiTCP-XG. A 256 MB DDR3 memory is also provided as a data buffer.
Dedicated DAQ software enables users to control the complete measurement process from a Windows PC, including connection to SEABAS3, register and parameter settings, trigger configuration, data acquisition, calibration, and data storage. Acquired data can be visualized as 2D images, accumulated images, histograms, projection profiles, and other views, and can be saved in PNG, TIFF, text, and binary formats.
The system supports INTPIX4NUHT and SEMTEG2 sub-boards. The software automatically switches its operating mode and available settings according to the connected sub-board.
