Neutrons flying into the cathode plate coated with the 10B layer (One of the stable isotopes of boron), are converted to charged particles. GEM amplifies electrons generated in this way, to tens of thousands of times. Using GEM signals, THIN-GEM determines coordinates and measures TOF by the readout substrate, then transfers the data to the PC via SiTCP. We sell the readout substrate alone as MPGD universal readout substrate with 256ch. [BBTX-043]
